Flag Raising Ceremony and Indigenous Arts Showcase

The Orange Thread centres around Indigenous voices and Two-Spirit leadership within our community through ceremony, artistic expression, and connection.

Come join us for our Flag Raising Ceremony to kick off the start of Pride Week!

On Monday, August 31st, 2026, we will be gathering at the The Confluence Historic Site & Parkland to raise our flag, high and strong.

As we celebrate Pride, we also recognize the importance of uplifting Indigenous and Two-Spirit voices, whose leadership continues to shape our collective future.

Come check out the Indigenous Artist Showcase at the BMO Centre Hall F on Saturday, September 5th, 2026. During the Queer Arts Market we will be showcasing Two-Spirit and Indigenous performances.
