Who Your Support Helps
Calgary Pride
Calgary Pride brings people together so queer communities can feel seen, supported, and protected through visibility, advocacy, resources, and safer spaces. Calgary Pride’s work continues beyond Pride Week, including support for smaller queer communities, community events, advocacy efforts, and public education. A recent example of this work is Calgary Pride’s 2026 statement opposing Didsbury’s proposed Public Space Neutrality Bylaw, which Calgary Pride identified as a threat to 2SLGBTQIA+ visibility, representation, and belonging in municipal spaces.
Stonewall Recovery
Stonewall Recovery helps 2SLGBTQIA+ people in addiction recovery access support from folks who understand their experiences. Their work helps people feel supported, cared for, and less alone while navigating recovery.
SafeLink Alberta
SafeLink Alberta supports people with HIV-related health support, testing, education, and care. Their work helps communities access safer health resources, emotional support, referrals, and information without judgment.
Black Pride YYC
Black Pride YYC helps connect, represent, and celebrate Calgary’s Black queer community. Their work creates space for Black 2SLGBTQIA+ voices to be heard, supported, and recognized.
Awowakiiks
Awowakiiks supports cultural connection for Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer people. Their work helps create spaces where Two-Spirit and Indigiqueer people can connect with community, culture, and each other.
Why Your Support Matters
Safe spaces are still very needed.
Across Calgary and beyond, many queer and 2SLGBTQIA+ people are still looking for places where they can feel seen, welcomed, and safe. At the same time, funding is becoming harder to secure, making community support even more important.
Indigo Nights helps keep this work going. Every ticket, table, and sponsorship supports Calgary Pride and four community partners whose work reaches people in different ways, from health support and recovery to cultural connection, Black queer representation, advocacy, visibility, and community care.
When you attend or sponsor Indigo Nights, you are helping keep community support alive year-round.
Partner With Indigo Nights
Show your audience what your brand stands for while connecting with Calgary Pride’s wider community. Through Indigo Nights, sponsors support five organizations at once while gaining visibility through Calgary Pride and partner channels.
Sponsorship offers brand visibility, event presence, community connection, and the opportunity to be part of a fundraiser that supports Calgary Pride, Stonewall Recovery, SafeLink Alberta, Black Pride YYC, and Awowakiiks.
Part of Calgary Pride Week 2026
Indigo Nights is part of Calgary Pride’s expanded Pride Week 2026, a citywide celebration taking place from August 31 to September 6.
Pride Week is organized into program “threads,” each representing a different aspect of community, creativity, advocacy, and celebration:
🔴 Red Thread — Nightlife & Performance
🟠 Orange Thread — Two-Spirit Arts & Ceremony
🟡 Yellow Thread — All Ages Celebration
🟢 Green Thread — Queer Arts Market
🔵 Blue Thread — Community Collaboration
🟣 Indigo Thread — Indigo Nights Fundraiser
💜 Purple Thread — Calgary Pride Parade
Indigo Nights plays a central role in supporting the broader Pride Week experience and Calgary Pride’s ongoing community work throughout the year.
