Pride on the Island

Join us at Prince’s Island Park for Pride on the Island. On Saturday, September 5th, 2026 and Sunday, September 6th, 2026, the island will come alive with all sorts of incredible performers and will showcase our headliner for this year’s Calgary Pride.

Saturday will be ticketed event while Sunday will be completely free to the public and will be All-Ages.

Calgary Pride presents DJ Trixie Mattel at Pride On The Island

For the first time ever, Prince’s Island Park will be transformed into Calgary’s largest outdoor Pride dance party, bringing together world-class entertainment, local talent, production, and thousands of people for one unforgettable night under the stars.

Headlining the celebration is international drag superstar, television personality, recording artist, DJ Trixie Mattel, joined by an incredible lineup of DJs, drag performers, entertainers, with Karla Marx as host. 

From 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM, experience high-energy performances, incredible music, and a festival atmosphere unlike anything Calgary Pride has presented before.

Produced by local partners who live, work, and create in Calgary, Pride on the Island is more than just another event. It is the beginning of a new tradition built by our community, for our community. 

Dickens will be operating site-wide alcohol consumption, the night will be hosted by Karla Marx, with The Cabaret Company, Detour YYC, and Calgary Pride working together behind the scenes to bring this event to life.
