Originally from the northern Albertan Prairies of Canada, Robert combines his roots in the soulful simplicity of classic country with lyrics that offer more than surface meaning. Robert is sure to make his audience nostalgic for a place they may never have known, and warm hearts with his small town charm. In the modern backdrop of “Party Hard” and “Bro Country” Robert offers and equally rowdy but inclusive take in the county narrative. Being one of the few Queer country artists out there his music appeals to a expansive audience. Telling stories of people, left behind in the history of country music, but yet producing material universally empathetic to all of humanity. In 2015 Robert moved to Ontario to record his debut EP “Prairie Gold”, which was released in August 2017. “Rocky Mountain Lot” featured on his EP, made it to the top 10 in the country category in the Canadian Songwriting Competition in 2018. Robert has now brought his acquired knowledge and experience from the Toronto music scene to the thriving scene of Calgary Alberta.
