Chris is a Juno nominated musician living in Calgary. “I’ve been a musician since an early age playing Piano and other instruments for more than 30 years. This fall will be the 30th anniversary of my moving to Calgary from Montreal when my mother suddenly carted us across the country.” After fronting the Band AM Static and garnering a Juno nomination in 2016, he and his partner made one more record and decided to part ways. This last year Chris has been recovering from a concussion from a car accident which left him with auditory issues. “Writing music became quite a task. But it’s also helped me re-approach my style and writing techniques, since sometimes I had to guess what music would sound like without hearing it. It was fucked! But it worked out. I assume haha.”
