Even better\, we’ve scored FIVE timeslots over a 6 week period! Those players willing to commit to all 5 slots up front are being rewarded with a package price of just $50! \nThose who are uncertain can choose to opt for a waitlist space only. Waitlisted players will be offered a spot no sooner than 14 days before the event and will pay the higher rate of $12 per session. DESCRIPTION:The Western Cup family is expanding\, and we’d like to invite you to join us in the fun! If you’ve been looking for a brand new\, exciting\, inclusive\, and accessible sport to pick up\, now’s your chance: that sport is Pickleball! \nJoin us at Le Roi Daniels School (47 Fyffe Rd SE\, Calgary\, AB T2H 1B9) for an Apollo Pickleball Open House & Play on April 8 from 11:30 am—2:00pm. All are welcome! \nThree courts will be dedicated to beginners and new/nervous players! If you’re new – you belong with us. For brand new players\, mentors Reinette & Elmar Otte will be on one court to introduce brand new players to some basics and get them playing. \nTwo courts will be for people who are new to the game and nervous about joining open play. On the other three courts\, people will be in the game\, open play style. It’s the perfect way to meet new people and come together in a very social sport. Put on your court shoes and gym attire and come to a fun afternoon before the Western Cup evening festivities begin. \nA brand-new organization under the Apollo umbrella that started up in 2023\, Apollo Pickleball is passionate about fostering safe spaces for the 2SLGBTQ+ community and creating resilient and healthy communities that embrace movement\, play\, inclusivity\, and kindness. \nTo play or learn the basics\, the cost is $15/person\, paid in advance by interac e-transfer to apollopickleball@gmail.com To confirm your spot\, full payment must be received within 48-hours of signing up. \nSIGN-UP HERE: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0D45AAAC2DA7F8C16-pickleball4 \n22 spots maximum. You are encouraged to bring your stitching\, knitting\, or other small creative project over some drinks. These events are meant to be a safer place for the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Transphobia\, homophobia\, and discrimination are not welcome.
