DESCRIPTION:Ben Berg and Larry Welsman are an adventuresome couple. In 2021\, to celebrate Ben’s turning 65\, they hiked to 65 summits\, walking 825 km’s in distance and gaining 73 km’s in elevation. By heading to the Yukon\, they completed a project started years ago\, to visit each and every Canadian province and territory. Ben’s talk will showcase some amazing images and video clips from the summit hikes\, as well as from their trips to the Arctic. A diverse lineup of comics with transgender comedian Cindy Rivers hosting\, and queer\, transgender comedian Veronica Gingles from Winnipeg headlining. Cindy has toured North America performing at clubs and festivals\, while Veronica is on her first mini-tour. Veronica produces and hosts a popular bi-monthly show in Winnipeg called Queerly Beloved\, and is planning to do an extensive tour of Canada over the next year. \nThis show is produced by “Comedy Monday Night” at Broken City\, 613 11th Ave SW.\nDoors open at 7\, show at 8.
