Select retailers will also be popping up during Pride week to celebrate. The CORE is also thrilled to once again be working with Skipping Stone by collecting cosmetics for the expression program and donations through their Pride themed bubble gum machines. Celebrate inclusion and diversity with this glamourous family-friendly storytime program presented in partnership with the Calgary Public Library\, led by local drag performers. \nReading with Royalty celebrates diversity and encourages children to look beyond gender stereotypes and embrace exploration of self. In programs like this\, participants are able to see people who interpret gender and imagine a colourful world where people can express their identity freely. \nParticipants can pre-register on the Calgary Public Library website using their Library card. \nNo library card? No problem! Get your free CPL membership at https://calgarylibrary.ca/your-library/join/.\n\n—-\n\nIn the spirit of respect\, reciprocity and truth\, Calgary Pride\, as an inhabitant of Calgary Alberta\, honours and acknowledges Moh’kinsstis and the traditional Treaty 7 territory and oral practices of the Blackfoot confederacy: Siksika\, Kainai\, Piikani as well as the Iyarhe Nakoda and Tsuut’ina nations.
